BATUCADA CLASSES
WITH THE KANIMAMBO GROUP AT 'TOCART SCHOOL' IN LA VERNEDA, BARCELONA

Regular classes, focused on students of different rhythmic levels, from beginners to people who have already played in other groups. A fun way to learn these exciting rhythms and meet people with the same interests.
We rehearsed in the neighborhood of La Verneda, Barcelona. Next to the metro line L2 and with parking at the door.
CLASS FEATURES:

Group classes.

We base ourselves on rhythms such as 'samba-reggae' from Salvador de Bahía, 'samba enredo' from Rio de Janeiro and 'baiao' from the Northeast of Brazil.

We went through different instruments such as surdos, box, Timbao, repenique, tamborim, agogo, agbe and chocallo.

We work on the choreographies and the staging in general.

We do live performances.

Focused on students of initial and intermediate level.

Regular weekly classes of 1 hour and 30 minutes.

We provide the necessary instruments.

Activity for adults.
We carry out a free monthly dress rehearsal where the classmates (between 40 and 50) of all the batucada classes participate.
At the Tocart school, we offer a quarterly weekend stage, in a rural environment, where we get together and share with students from different disciplines (batucada, African percussion, flamenco cajón, Iberian percussion and Brazilian music combo).
Where we carry out different percussion activities, among others.
You just have to bring the desire to enjoy, the rest we do!
